Note: Werewolf Rank List and Terms

I use the following werewolf ranks in my book with some exceptions. All ranks are listed here for giving a complete list of werewolves rank.

1. Alpha (the pack leader). Usually, a pack has only one or two Alphas at maximum. If there are two Alphas, they are the leader and his mate (Luna). The Alpha is the strongest and most influential in the pack. Alpha makes sure all pack members are safe and fulfilled. In some cases, the Alpha can be not the strongest one but the cleverest/most sly.

2. Beta (second-in-command). Beta is the vice leader of the pack. Caring for the pack members falls on the Beta when Alpha is absent in the community. Usually, the Beta is the one who is the most trusted by the Alpha.

3. Gamma (Elder). Gamma is usually the senior of the pack. The pack respects them because of their wisdom and unique ability. Retired Alpha usually will serve as Gamma.
