Epilogue

Susanne entered my room in a rush. Her face was gloomy. “Miss Lisa, we must leave the pack immediately.”

I raised my eyebrows. “Why? What’s wrong?”

Susanne opened my cupboard and packed some of my clothes there. “Alpha Cameron came with his troop. You should stay somewhere safe. If all has been calm, we can return here.”

I let out a sigh. Susanne might be right. Rubbing my belly, I sighed again. Going elsewhere would ensure my pup’s safety rather than staying here. So, I took my handbag, filling it with my jewelry and some gold plates. Then Susanne and I walked to the garden, and after passing the secret passage, we were already outside our pack.
