“Thank you, Alpha Fred.” I stood to respect him as he left the room.
Then Cam sighed and said to Lisa, “I hope your father will accept Nate. He is a better man than me. Your brother is also too much.”
Lisa didn’t react. She held my hand; her hand was cold. “Let’s go elsewhere to talk.”
