Chapter 69. What Will Happen Next?

I held my breath because it was Bill who entered the room. Then Lisa walked past him and shook her head. “Nothing.”

Bill held Lisa’s arm. “What’s going on?” His eyes glanced at me. “Why is she here?”

“I give her to you as a present. You can do anything to her. Are you happy?” Lisa pushed Bill’s chest with a hand. 

However, Bill didn’t move even a bit. He kept holding her arm. “What happened? Tell me,” he said in a low tone.

Lisa shook her head and burst into tears. Bill hugged her and brought Lisa’s head to his chest. “There, there. You can cry until you feel better.”

It was a surprise to me to see Bill could show care toward his sister. Maybe he wasn’t quite a jerk. I didn’t know because what happened between him and me was in the past life. Perhaps he had changed. 

After a while, Lisa stopped crying. Bill dried her tears with a finger. “Feel better?”

“Thank you, Bill.”

“Now, you can tell me why you brought Anna here.”
