Chapter 86. The Meeting (1)

The Great Assembly room had been prepared for our urgent meeting. My father was already there. When he saw Nate, Lisa, Melanie, and I entered the room, his brows lifted a bit. Everyone rose to respect my present. I gestured to all Elders to take a seat while four of us also sat. 

I glanced around, ensuring everyone was ready to hear me. “Dear Elders, I don’t know if you have already received any complaints from the Hurricane Dawn Pack. But let us tell you first what happened yesterday. Nate?”

Nate patted Lisa’s shoulder and then stood to face all Elders. “My respectable Elders, Omega Melanie Wood and I were the witnesses of what happened yesterday in the Hurricane Dawn Pack.” He glanced at Lisa. When Lisa nodded, Nate continued his words. “We infiltrated our ally because of the urgent situation.”

“What situation?” one Elder shouted. “It is unacceptable to jeopardize the peace treaty, considering it is something we have strived hard to achieve.”
