Chapter 47
Asher’s POV
There was a long and narrow corridor filled with several doors. It was painted shimmering white, every inch and angle of this place represented Camille’s mind.
The doors were too numerous and different sounds were coming from the doors opposite from where I stood as well too. Even the corridor sparkled with white and the bright bulb nearly blinded me at first. I had to shield my face with my palm covering my eyes and blinked repeatedly to adjust my eyes to the light and the new settings.
The aura was a nostalgic one that surrounded Camille’s mind. It kept tugging at me, pulling me closer to open all the doors out of curiosity. I took a few steps, my shoes making clicking sounds as I neared the first door.
I touched the knob of the first door and gently opened it. The inside was filled with people buzzing around their telecoms. Some sat in front of their monitor and typed away. My eyes strained as I kept watch on just one pers
