She missed King Lucien with an intensity that was so terrifying, it remained indescribable.
As days go by, she misses him so badly that she has to cry herself to sleep in her cold empty bed most of the nights, unless Sally comes with her story parchments. She regrets running away from him that night they had a misunderstanding. She should have stayed and talked more sense into that hard-headed man. She should have tried to hold on to him more.
