She pulled back, closed her eyes to reclaim control of the tears welling in her eyes and she said, “Go, Ethan, before I change my mind and claim you.”
How could he not move? This woman was damn determined to see her intentions through to the very end and being here was a snare he could see coming from miles away.
He immediately started to the door and she sat back on the sofa and nestled comfortably, soon to give herself up to crying. He closed the door behind him and hurried to one of his cars.
