“I can show you around before we go,” I offered and they nodded. They each took my arm, and I was walking in the middle.

The Lafayette family had a kind of aura that made them untouchable, yet alluring to the eyes. I felt many eyes on us as we walked, others were bowing so low, lower than ever while the ladies bat their lashes at them. They were quite popular too!
