I pulled my gun and pressed it against Samuel’s other knee—the one I hadn’t already shot. “Last chance. Tell me who helped you, or I’m going to make sure you never walk again. And then I’m going to start on other body parts. Your hands, maybe. Your spine. See how much you can lose before you bleed out.”
