Ramon POV
The moment I saw my brothers standing at my door, panic crashed through me like a physical force.
Not now. Not today. Not after what I’d just done with Lake upstairs.
I could still feel him on my skin, could smell his scent clinging to me. They would know. My brothers would take one look at me and know exactly what had happened this morning. Would smell Lake all over me and realize that I’d done it again—had been intimate with him while my mind supplied images of him younger, had gotten harder because of those images, had lost myself so completely in the fantasy that I’d said terrible things about breeding him, keeping him pregnant.
“What are you all doing here?” I asked, trying to keep my voice level even as my heart raced.
“Good morning to you too, brother,” Rafael said, and there was something knowing in his tone. Like he could already tell I was on the edge of breaking. “Can we come in?”
