Chapter 67. A New Alliance
Marcel crushed me with his weight. His teeth sunk into my skin. It was a blend of pain and beautiful ecstasy. We’d been at it since three in the morning when nightmares plagued my mind and the only thing we could do to chase the darkness was make love.
The sun crept into our room. Slowly the hot rays gleamed over our sheets.
I dug my nails into Marcel’s back as he rammed his hips into me. I bit my bottom lip to keep in the cry. Exhaustion was an understatement but I didn’t want this to end. No one told me how much stamina shifters had. Sometimes I struggled just to keep up with him maybe it was the unique bond between us that kept us anchored or the fact that only Marcel made me feel alive.
“M-Marcel,” I rasped.
“I’m close, Kitten.”
“So am I,” I gasped.
