Mia flipped the book in her hand to page seventeen, and she almost started reading when her door flew open and the devil emerged inside, with a face ripped so red Mia almost feared it’ll explode.

The ring was still on his finger, but somehow he looked as furious as ever. Perhaps it wasn’t as powerful as everyone thought, or Xavier’s fury was that intense.
