Chapter 68. A Blank Slate

I woke up feeling groggy all over. On top of that, I am hungry, thirsty, and totally blank. The last memory I have is me talking with Alpha Killian that I think ended up so bad I do not know what happened after that heated argument.
“Thank goodness you are finally awake. I thought you were going to sleep for the rest of the day and keep me here in your room just staring up at your beauty.”
A smile automatically formed in my mouth when I saw William coming up from the small pantry in the room with two cups of coffee for the both of us.
It has been his routine to come here to my room to bring me coffee or just food that we will eat together. Coming back feels bearable when William shows up. I do not care anymore if he can’t tell other people about me being his mate because his presence here is more than enough for me.
