“What?” I whispered, setting both of my hands to my side. “What did you say?”

Killian bowed his head on the ground and explained it to me. “My former luna and wife and the mother of that child cheated on me with another man. I am not the father of her daughter that is why I despised her! No man who has been cheated on by his own wife will be able to raise a child like her!”

My hands clenched as my temper goes up. “And no man in his clear conscience will lock up an innocent child like her in that god forsaken place!”

I lifted his face roughly using my dirty boots. “What you are claiming is preposterous and Luna Athena cannot defend herself from her graves.
