Chapter 343. We Have Just Started

Tish POV

I race from the pack house.

I hear footsteps following me, but I don’t dare to turn around to see who it is.

After what I heard, I don’t want to be convinced to stay.

I didn’t hear the whole conversation, but I heard enough.

Kai and his mother don’t want me here, and I refuse to stay at another place where I am not wanted.

I head straight for the cabin.

I am going to be smart this time.

I will change into something more suitable for hitchhiking, and when I find a place to settle down, I will send them money for the outfit I took.

They should be able to return everything else.

I have never been dependent on someone before, and I don’t plan on starting now.

I am so focused on the plan formulating in my mind that I don’t notice the footsteps are getting closer.

A hand grabs me around the waist just before I reach the door.

The strange feeling of tingles spread across my skin, and I feel calmer
