Chapter 264. Fight

Kaden POV

Jesse struts out of Kai’s room with a smirk on her face. She got exactly what she wanted. She convinced Kai to betray the mate bond and now Tish won’t ever come back. I may have fucked up by calling the North Pack, but at least I didn’t sleep with someone else.

I am desperately trying to keep my anger in check, but Apollo is ready to kill him. He is snarling in my mind, trying to break free.

Kai pulls on his boxers and holds his hands up in defense. “It’s not what it looks like.”

“Then what the fuck was it?” I growl.

Kai swallows hard. “It was a mistake. I couldn’t even finish. She’s not Tish.”

“And that is supposed to make it all better?” I shout at him. “You still betrayed the bond. What if Tish felt it?”

Kai rolls his eyes. “She didn’t feel it. Haven’t you noticed? She doesn’t feel the bond the way we do.”

“You are fucking stupid,” I groan. “You have ruined everything. She feels more than you know.”
