Macy POV

I shouldn’t be surprised to see the Luna Queen waiting for me on the porch of the pack house, but I don’t feel like speaking to anyone. I try to walk past her, but she has no intention of letting me go.

“Macy,” She calls after me. “You have to accept what happened today.”

“Nothing happened,” I growl.

“Lying to yourself will only make it worse,” she pleads with me.

I spin around and stare into her blue eyes. She really is lovely. Ethereal would be the right word to describe her. I don’t understand how anyone ever doubted her connection to the Moon Goddess.
