Chapter 525. Roommates

Wren POV

I am standing in the living room of Destin’s cabin. He and Charlie are outside securing the perimeter. Destin all but threatened to kill anyone who dares to come speak to me. Dad was livid, but Father held him back. Mom kissed me on the forehead and promised to call. Then Destin tossed me over his shoulder and carried me to the car.

Now, I am not sure how this is going to work. Of course, I have shared a pack house with other werewolves, but this is different. This feels intimate. What if they suddenly decide sharing me isn’t worth the trouble?

“That’s everything,” Destin says, dropping my suitcase at his feet.

Charlie is behind him, and he looks just as worried as I do. “How is this going to work?”

“Well,” Destin sighs. “There are only two bedrooms.”

“I will take the couch,” Charlie sighs.
