Chapter 531. Unbalanced

Wren POV

I had forgotten how different the Immortal Realm is. The colors are more vibrant, the grass and trees are more lush, and even the air smells nicer. I wish I could stay here, but instead, it just adds to my jealousy.

‘You need to get it under control,’ Jasmine growls in my mind. ‘What has gotten into you?’

‘I don’t know,’ I reply. ‘I feel so unbalanced.’

‘It is because you haven’t claimed your mates,’ she sighs. ‘The bond isn’t complete.’

‘They won’t let me complete the bond,’ I whine. ‘And if I can’t get my emotions under control, I am going to drive them away.’

‘Give me some of the control,’ Jasmine suggests. ‘I will keep you in line.’

‘We are too different,’ I object. ‘They will know instantly. I just need to suck it up.’

Jasmine’s growl rumbles loudly in my head. ‘I am here if you need me.’

My mind goes silent, and I look around the room that was given to Charlie and me. It is lovely, just like everything else
