I was cradled in Magnus's arms like a baby. He kept on growling, and his wolf eyes showed brightly as he sniffed my body, trying to take in my scent. I was so shocked when he lunged at Meredith, thinking she wanted to take me away from him. Immediately getting to my faerie friend's house, where I had woken up, she pulled Meredith away, who was struggling to get to me, and pointed at the house, urging Magnus in.
