Chapter 67. A Needed Chance

The days went by quickly, and the night of the full moon was almost upon us. I hadn't been counting, but I was here about two weeks, and some days had passed since I and Magnus returned to the pack.

And not one single day out of those did I feel empty or lonely.

He was always around, handy…considerate even.

And he had also begun to smile and laugh more. It was almost as if he had ultimately been rebranded before.

It was not completely changed, though, because there had been instances where the stubborn, firm-toned Magnus had come out. But at least now, he was ready to listen without interrupting and compromise when needed.

"You truly are gorgeous, Milady," Samantha complimented as she stepped back after tending to my curls and separating them into two long braids.

"You flatter me well," I muttered gladly, turning to give her a kind smile.

"It is no flattery, Milady… fact, you look even more radiant than before."
