The minute the vampires decided to not partake in the war again I knew my time at Silverlake was done. It was time for me and my men to head back to our base. There was nothing more left here and we couldn’t hang around and wait for the green moss pack to come and bring the entire place down.

We couldn’t have that.

I alerted my men immediately and we were ready to leave the next day.

John would have to stay back and clean up all this mess. I wasn’t interested in any of it.
