Chapter 226. A Meeting

I got to the meeting hall for the meeting and realized that it was almost empty. It was just Ryder and his beta Anthony that were seated. I had agreed to take my mother along for the meeting and I realized that she was excited about it.

When I walked in I was dumbfounded. Why was it just the two of them. Usually in a meeting such as this the hall would be packed with pack leaders and councils and what not but today it was just the two of them.

I looked around the hall carefully and then walked to the big table where they were seated. Ryder didn’t even acknowledge my presence, he barely looked up towards me.

I and my mother took a seat and waited for him to speak.
