Chapter 249. False Promises

A part of me really wanted to consider what he was saying. A part of me really wanted to believe him, but that part was long gone a long time ago.

My uncle did not stop at just one crime, he kept on going and he would have continued if not for the war that would have happened between himself and my new pack, he wasn’t remorseful at all and everything he was saying was a lie and he was being pretentious so I couldn’t take his word for it.

A part of me wanted to believe him and give him another chance, but I couldn’t. I was so angry and upset with everything he had done to me and with good reason and I was determined to make him payback. If he had reached out to me much earlier and by his own self I might have considered, but ri
