Chapter 48. He Was a Demon!

Abigail’s POV

You’d think I was some precious stone the way Damien seemed to safeguard me; we would have to have words when Jason had gone because this was ridiculous, his lack of compassion for human life bothered me! He has only known me for a few days and had just tried to kill some, because of me! I understand that wolves tend to imprint very quickly on their mates, but from what I heard between Jason and Archer, Damien was not a wolf!

He was a demon!

Something I prayed was just a slang word or term of ‘endearment’, but given his impulsiveness, possessiveness and predisposition for murder, I was starting to wonder if what I had heard in Jason’s mind was right! And if it was, how did I feel about that? Because on the surface, I seemed to be brushing it under the carpet! But if Damien was evil and I was not.. or at least I hoped I wasn’t, how was this... whatever it was that was growing between him, and I expected to work!
