I was his only mate. So I am patiently waiting for that time. That would be the day I will show them both my true color.

Now, I can be nice, cruel if I have to, merciless if I need to, and fierce whenever I feel like it. I would never hurt the innocent ones for all I know. The moon goddess gave me the power to correct all wrongs and I am trying to do that. My phone beeped. It was a message from Kathryn.

She was asking if I was ready so she could pick me up.

I texted I wasn't at home presently. I was just going back home. I felt hungry and I told Mr. Alex to go to a nearby restaurant. I don't feel like eating the maid's food. I kind of missed my parents though. I would call them when I arrive back home. The car came to a halt in front of the restaurant. I didn't care to look at the name but all I wanted was to eat and to be satisfied. I had declined the offer of Desmond's mother giving me food.

Oh, what if she decided to poison me?
