She pressed the button.

"They are called the alkali metals and they are lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, francium, and caesium."

"Correct."

A point was added. She has twenty-six points now altogether.

"Iris Williams of Gateway Academy. What are the types of subatomic particles?"

I managed to press the buttons but it was faint.

I was about to talk until I howled into the microphone. I widened my eyes. This is such a disaster. A very terrible one. How am I supposed to speak now? How?

I tried talking but it didn't work. I know it. I know the answer. I can't just talk. I can't. Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked around. My face was all over the projectors except the ones displaying the points.

I would have written my answers but I can't even hold a pencil properly. This is going to be tragic. Jeez.
