Chapter 57. Lucifer’s Captives
The majestic creature was forced into a dank, dark cave. They had left it curled up in the room's corner, breathing heavy steam from its mouth. Its black, reptilian eyes darted back and forth, surveying the space and looking for threats, but when it saw none, it huffed a sigh of relief. Dust swirled around the cave as the creature reposed, trying to get comfortable.
The constant and monotonous dripping of the wet patch on the roof sent a familiar sensation to its eardrums, reminding it so much of home. Dirt and mud discoloured the water. The creature noticed the small rocks falling from the roof of the cave caused by the distant rumbling. Through hazy visions, it saw two giants fighting over what seemed to be scraps of food on the floor. The creature huffed again.
