Zade’s lips pulled in a grin and he rolled up the sleeve of his shirt.

“You all might want to look away for this,” he said humbly and reached out his arm.

The inked snake started moving, the tail slithered under his skin and the head slowly rose with its split tongue flickering as it fell on the bed.

“What in the…” one of the healers said and staggered back, hitting the table.

The snake moved across the bloodstained bed and up on Hazel’s stomach.
