Chapter 52

HAZEL

The morning had come and gone, it had to be noon now when I lay awake on the bed and stared at the ceiling as I had for the past hours.

My body was beyond overworked and my legs trembled but I tried to lay as still as possible to avoid putting pressure on the bruises that painted my skin with reminders of last night.

There wasn’t an inch that hadn’t been kissed, licked, or bitten—my ass was numb from the whipping and his hands had explored all the ways that I could be touched.

I hugged the sheet over my chest and winced when my hands graced my breast, they were red and blue from his rough touches and squeezes and my nipples were swollen from being twisted. Bite marks covered my skin and many of them were on my breast and inner thighs then there were some on my waist. I remember once hearing that there were bite marks called love bites but this wasn’t it. There was no love to them and I think love bites hurt less, it sounds like they should.
