Chapter 78. Banished

When I open my eyes the next day, I find myself alone in bed.

Disappointed, I look around, Zane is nowhere to be seen. Turning over, I see a note and a lonely Lily on the pillow beside me. Smiling, I pick up the flower and smell it. It's still fresh, so Zane went out and picked it from the wild to surprise me.

I unfold the note and see his strong handwriting.
