Yaya’s POV

It had been a full week since Thor had gone to the Moon Stone pack, and Kane had returned to meet his mate and the new pup.

Every day, Zena and I prayed to the Moon Goddess to protect him and grant him victory in the war he was about to fight. I knew when he left that, somehow, the search for Charlotte would lead him to Giloed.

I was afraid, but I didn’t lose hope. We were consoled by the fact that Gina’s and Kane’s new pup had arrived, and he gave us hope. Kane had asked if he could go in search of Thor and Charlotte, but Zena refused. She had strong faith that her son would return.

That day I decided to fetch some flowers for my office, as I did once in a while. It was my excuse to go outside and have some fresh air. I had barely made it to the foot of the stairs when I heard a loud noise coming from outside the castle.

It was a chant, a war chant.
