Chapter 23

Nicolette looked really moody as she ate along with Amareux.

Tiffany had left and Amareux was still trying to place what had just happened moments ago.

Nicollete was so upset that she kept hitting her spoon on the ceramic plate as she ate.

"You're going to chip a part of the plate if you keep doing that." Amareux informed.

"Oh! " Nicolette exclaimed, blushing in embarrassment that a little boy bad corrected her bad table manners. "I am really sorry."

Amareux nodded. He went back to his food and raised his head to look at Nicolette from time to time. She wasn't eating much.

"Are you okay, Nicolette? You seem upset."

Nicolette raised her head from her food slowly. Her lips were upturned. "I am upset. I'm sorry for bothering you." Then, she stood up and carried Primrose with her. She hurried out of the room.
