“That you have enslaved,” Leanna growled back, using that werewolf bark to sound the way one of them would. Everyone around looked at each other. Nobody knew what to think about slaves, apparently. “The women who took their monsters the way they were theirs, possessing their bodies and smearing their souls with the rot of their disgusting species. You allowed this to happen, and killed those women, my sisters, as if they were nothing. You’re the monster, Randall. You deserved every drop of despair I planted in your mind during these centuries. You deserved to have been burned, the way you did with the bodies of those who created me.”
