Chapter 13
Isaiah’s POV
“You know we can do as much touring as you want when you get back,” I said as Alaia pulled me into another room of the pack house.
There was a dark walnut bookcase lining the entire left wall. There was a black sectional with a fur pelt draped over one of the arms, lined with fluffy red and black pillows. On the right wall sits a large fireplace and mantle with bookshelves on both sides. The mantle is littered with picture frames of my family and friends.
In the middle of the room sits a L-shaped mahogany desk etched with intricate designs. To the right of the desk stood floor-to-ceiling double bay windows with red blackout curtains that led out to a small balcony overlooking my mother’s garden. Everything in this room screamed my parents. I made a mental note to change that.
“I know. I just want to see as much as I can before I go. You never know what the future can bring.”
