Zira woke up from the bump of the car moving down the road. It was still dark outside but there was a little light on the horizon, signifying the sun was coming up soon. She didn’t realize she had drifted off to sleep. From soothing Arias and Zed’s obvious cold shoulder, she was exhausted. She turned her body to sit up straight in the back of the truck.
