Chapter 55

Zira’s POV

After helping me stand upright Isaiah walked over to Alaia to calm her. My stomach clenched at the sight. It wasn’t like I was jealous or anything. I was just holding onto a huge secret that I didn’t want everyone to know. A secret that involved him and things tend to not stay a secret long around him.

I started to get a little nervous. Alaia was looking at me as if she knew something. Then I remembered Nina spilled the beans at the ceremony with at least half of the people standing here. I knew Isaiah was talking to them while I was leaving but there’s no way they said anything. Isaiah would have mentioned it by now.

He would’ve told Alaia and she wouldn’t be this calm. I stared back at them while they whispered to each other, making the other person smile. So I can just play it cool and relax. If I look like I’m hiding something he might use his Alpha command to force me to tell him. I was actively avoiding Isabella’s gazes which to her means co
