MIQUEL'S POV
I stared at her wild eyes and quickly scurried off to where she was.
“No, my princess, I won't allow you to” I insisted, holding her from removing her underwear.
“Does that mean it's true?” She said, gradually tearing up.
“It's not true. Such a rumor is absurd and shouldn't be believed as the future queen of this capital” I manage to say.
“Then does that mean it's my body that is unappealing to you?” She demanded sadly and I sighed.
I pulled her closer to me in an embrace and she sobs softly.
“I apologize for all my actions. I promise you I will tell you everything and the reasons for my actions at the right time” I said sincerely, and she wept harder.
“When will you tell me? Is it when Gilead has been captured by Her enemy?” She wept bitterly and I patted her back.
“Gilead will not be captured, that's a promise,” I told her, wiping off her tears.
