MIGUEL'S POV

“Make no mistake, infiltrate the Alpha's troops and find your way to his tent then at the opportune moment, kill the Alpha” I heard Karis say and stare at Valeria.

“I'm sure his mate is here to tell Edrille that a prank had been pulled on him. Once we get rid of the Alpha and Beta, Edrille will be our next target” Karis said, and I could sense the fear on Valeria's face.

“But…” A commander protested.

“No question, we are eitherawing our support to my sister's mate!” Edrille must have eavesdropped on them. Valeria sighed, relieved that he now knows the truth.

“Take your time and fight alongside Miquel's army! Hurry, there is little time,” he told another commander.

“Now you want to turn your back on us?” Karis chipped in.

“I would have long ago had it been I knew you planned to make my sister a widower. If you're a true warrior, fight Miquel on a battlefield and not by conspiracy,” he told him.<
