Miquel knelt in front of Timon, the new crowned king and his cabinets, her heart pounding in her chest as she waited for her fate to be decided. She had kept her secret for so long, but now it was out in the open. The court was filled with whispers and murmurs as the officials discussed what to do with her.

Demetrius, her fiancé, bent down beside her, his hand intertwined with hers, giving her the support she needed. They had been through a lot together, and he was not about to let her face this alone. Tamar, the queen, sat beside Timon in the court, her eyes fixed on Miquel as she listened to the discussion.

Finally, the new king, Timon, stood up and silenced the court. His eyes fixed intently on Miquel as he spoke.
