Chapter 39
Pushing Zillon’s room door open, Celeste stepped inside, not having anything else to do but throw herself on the bed. She felt restless, especially since she was cooped up in the house for days. She wanted to go for a run, to transfer into her gentle beast and speed off into the winds without a destination.
But she doubted Zillon would ever let her. He’d bring up the excuse that she’s injured when all in all she was healed and now he had another excuse; the rogues.
Sighing, she twisted on the bed. He was with his father now though, he wouldn’t be able to stop her if he didn’t see her…right?
Celeste shuffled back off the bed, conceding to the thoughts she knew Zillon would be unhappy with. But she was bothered, impatient and furthermore, Zillon wasn’t here. This run would help to clear her mind and her heart as well.
