He sprinted off towards her and Celeste ran in aid of getting away…she was a fighter, if she let Xavier catch her, then she wouldn’t be able to call herself that anymore.
She ran towards her room, but before she could open up the door, Xavier’s arm was around her waist. “And what do you know? The real fighter has caught its prey.”
Celeste groaned, cheeks puffy. “Alright, you won this time, but tomorrow, you won’t stand a chance.”
“You say that every morning, Celeste.”
“And one morning you’ll be surprised when I don’t have to say it again.”

Zillon glared up from his desk at one of the pack members who had entered his office. The man’s face looked as though it was melting, his fear almost tangible. He was just about ready to sh*t his pants. “A-Alpha…we have yet to catch a whiff of her scent, we searched near, we searched far and yet we couldn’t find her.”
