Chapter 68. Behind That Door
“What? Your mate is in the pack house?” I asked, shocked because at the moment no one was on the third floor or even in the pack house because they were either training or in school, in the case of the teenagers, and I was certain Elaine eating downstairs wasn't his mate or our parents.
I didn’t get any reply from Benjamin. His nostrils flared as he walked around the room, sniffing at every corner and trying to figure out where the scent, which I couldn’t smell, was coming from. I thought about alerting Zion, but decided against it since he was probably already on his way, and I bet he would be excited to find out his friend had a mate in his pack.
I was startled when he suddenly pushed me a little roughly from the door and stormed out of the room and into the empty hallway. He was getting violent and scary for me.
"Benjamin, please, calm down” I tried to calm him down, but he wasn’t listening to me at all. He was going from door to door, sniffing through the door
