Chapter 42

POV: Nimah Jones 

I didn't know how long I had slept nor did I want to know how long I had.

But the silent rumbling of thunder woke me from my deep sleep. Yawning loudly I rubbed my sleepy eyes only to see it was evening and everywhere was dark with thunder rumbling in the sky threatening to tear down the sky.

From the looks of it, there would be a heavy downpour tonight. But the thought of this made me frown slightly.

If the rain should fall it would disrupt my plans. But then it would be a good thing for me as I would be able to execute more than half of my plans perfectly.

But then I wondered how I had slept since sunrise right till sunset. I was sure I would have woken up in the middle of the night if not for the rumbling of thunder.

Sighing I pushed all my thoughts to the back of my mind and entered the bathroom to wash up.
