Chapter 44
POV: Kit Garrison
This wasn't good news. My consciousness shouldn't fade at a time like this.
If I should let my consciousness fade away at a time like this I was sure my wolf would take over and undesirable things would happen.
I bit the lower path of my lips since I knew I couldn't move the other part of my body.
Blood oozed out of my lips as I felt a searing pain. But the pain was what kept me awake.
All this while I hadn't found a way to suppress the baleful aura of my wolf that was leaking out of my body.
Though the pain of biting my lips was much it couldn't be compared to the pain of trying to force back a transformation.
My wolf didn't give up and continued trying to transform. I knew it would soon invade my mind once it found out that its efforts were useless.
All I could think of right now was dawn. Where in hell was it? Why wouldn't they arrive as soon as possible?
I needed it right now no matter what.
