POV: Kit Garrison

I crossed my fingers through my locks of hair, feeling the banging headache that was making me feel as if my head had been split into two by a jackhammer. The effect of my memories coming back was a lot for my brain to handle and yet it was still trying to regulate the whole flow, making my head feel as if it was about to split open at any second.

Even though, as more time passed, the pain was subsiding, I could feel that it wasn’t easy, and if it wasn't for the fact that I was an alpha wolf, I would have probably collapsed from the impact of all of this, and every time the hit came, I would look over to Cassidy at the realization that she was ready for me to suffer through all of this.

And then the anger that I had before, that I thought was old, would start resurfacing again quite quickly without me realizing that we were in a car together, and she had insisted on sitting in the front.
