Chapter 22
"Maybe, I will make a difference," Jack managed to reply. Even though his head was spinning badly and he could feel his intestine burning hard, he wouldn't give up. "The blue mercenary has never run away from their fight, and I would not be the first."
"You are requesting a dangerous war, kid." Orion taunt. "Lower your guard and let me give you a peaceful death, just like I did to your father."
Unknown to Orion, he had just triggered something bad in Jack. His speech had touched something else in Jack’s mind.
Jack could feel the anger and pain burning in his veins at the same time. The mentioning of his father's name brought sad and painful memories to his head again as they kept rushing in.
"Father, I will make sure to avenge." He could remember his last promise to his father before he gave up the ghost.
But is this how he was going to fail? Nope, he can't allow that. Jack shook his head and took another step closer to Orion.
