“If you want to leave here in peace and not in pieces, I’d advise you to follow me,” Darius said to Coven and Henry. Without waiting for their reply or waiting to read the expression on their faces, he veered around, running in the direction of the tar pits.
Henry faced Coven, and one could see that he was lost on what to do. “What will you do in a situation like this?”
Coven shrugged. “Even though I don't trust that bastard because of what he and his master had done in the past. But right now, I don't think we have any other choice.”
“Well, then, what are we waiting for?” Henry said, and he sprinted after Darius while Coven followed.
Together, the three-run deeper into the Tarpits and try not to alert the patrol knights and taskmasters at the same time.
