"My queen, the spy that you sent after Mark has returned to relay his messages," A soldier elucidated while bowing in front of witch Zafira.

"Speak on," she answered.

"He said that before he could get to the scene, only Susan and an old man's dead body were found." The guard pauses, looking into Zafira's eyes to decide whether he should continue or not.

She scoffed and asked; “Is that all?”

"Both Mark and Raheem were nowhere to be found and..." He couldn't complete his sentence when he felt a force choking him. He coughed out blood and laid down dead within a blink of an eye.

Zafira mumbled some words under her breath, and with the way she was speaking, one could easily tell that she was casting some spell.
